Future Environments Lab
Welcome to the Future Environments Lab, a research group dedicated to communicating complex science and co-designed approaches to complex spatial problems in the natural and built environment.
Our group turns societal challenges into playable experiences, models, and participatory approaches. The Lab consists of highly experienced researchers, consultants and associates collaborating on research, UK government policy and commercial projects at Lancaster University.

Projects
We design, prototype, and build complex models and serious games for real-world environmental challenges and public participation. The range of projects highlights our novel methods, collaborators, and outcomes and in-depth case studies.

Press
We welcome media inquiries, interview requests, or information about the lab’s research and outcomes. Get in touch with our team to learn more about our projects and their real-world impact.
